“Temperance and Trapdoors: Prohibition and the Rosson House Museum” Virtual Lecture

Join our staff as we dive into the Roaring ’20s and the age of Prohibition during this virtual lecture! Discover why Arizona passed Prohibition a full five years before the passing of the 18th Amendment, hear how bathtub gin got its name, and learn about the Rosson House’s own bootlegging past…

Get ready for Gin & Jazz on Tuesday, April 6th at 7pm!

Everyone who donates $25 or more to Heritage Square for Arizona Gives Day will receive access to our special celebration. All virtual this year, attendees will learn a little Prohibition Era Bartending 101 with Chaz Enciso from The Churchill, catch The Dapper Manns and their smooth moves all the way from China, and tune in to hear the syncopated rhythms of a jazz band set up in Ghost Lounge at Hotel San Carlos.
