Girl Scouts Junior Historian Patch

Free – $7

Get hands-on with history as you learn about the life of women and girls in 1900. In this activity, you will learn about architecture, food, clothing and even technology through these activities:

  • Tour the Rosson House with a guide and complete the scavenger hunt
  • Play games popular over 100 years ago
  • Complete five activities in the Junior Historian booklet
  • Take the Junior Historian pledge and earn your participation patch

Logistics:

  • Suitable for Brownies and Juniors
  • Cost: $7/girl, $7/chaperones and siblings over 4 (includes cost of patch)
  • Program length is 2 hours.

About the Junior Historian Program

  • Modeled on the Junior Ranger program at national parks, the Junior Historian program was created by 13-year-old history enthusiast Sadie for Heritage Square.
