Make a Difference

The success of Rosson House Museum and our nonprofit organization depends on the hard work of volunteers. Our volunteers work in many areas including – leading tours for the public, assisting with field trips, working in the gift shop, helping with garden maintenance, and staffing special events. Other volunteer opportunities are available and corporate group volunteers are always welcome for special projects.

Requirements for Volunteers 

      • Attend a New Volunteer Information Session
      • Successfully complete orientation
      • Receive additional training from staff depending on role
      • Able to work a 2 to 4 hour shift
      • Work 24 hours in a 12 month period, (average of one two-hour shift a month)
      • Adhere to organizational policies and code of conduct
      • Willingness to have performance be evaluated and to be flexible
