The Bouvier-Teeter House

The Bouvier-Teeter House

…was built is 1899 by Leon Bouvier. It is a Pyramid Cottage style, the simplest type of single-family dwelling during the late Victorian period. It is a direct predecessor of the bungalow.  Leon Bouvier was a cattleman and flour miller. Bouvier sold the home to Eliza Teeter in 1911 and she, in turn, rented the property until she moved into it in 1919. Today, the house is home to Nobou, a refined Asian eatery featuring rustic Japanese classics with modern American inflections. Chef Nobou Fukuda is a James Beard Award winner. noboufukuda.com
