Victorian Secrets: Unmentionable and Ungovernable
Largely based on the books by Therese Oneill, this VIP tour dishes the dirt on every day Victorian life as we tour the Rosson House.
- Why are your knickers crotchless?
- How can your face cream poison you?
- What are the benefits of uncomfortable, occasionally poisonous, and downright scandalous medical treatments?
From her second book, Ungovernable: the Victorian Parent’s Guide to Raising Flawless Children, you’ll hear about the backward, pseudoscientific parenting fashions of the Victorians, advising us on:
- How to be sure you’re not too ugly, sickly, or stupid to breed
- How much beer, wine, cyanide, and heroin to consume while pregnant
After the tour, join us for a glass and some bites at The Bungalow just a few steps away–included in the ticket price.
This exclusive tour will be limited, so get your tickets today!
