Victorian Secrets: Unmentionable and Ungovernable
March 6, 2020 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm$30
Get the dirt on every day Victorian life in this unabridged and risque tour of the Rosson House. You’ll learn about everything from why your knickers were crotchless to how your face cream can kill you. Learn about the uncomfortable, occasionally poisonous, and downright scandalous medical treatments. (Hysteria sufferers, we’re talking about you!)
And new this fall, we’ll add advice on how to raise flawless children. When is it best to spank, birch and cane them? How can you use literature to invoke shame and fear to keep your offspring in line? You’ll learn all this and more. This tour includes a visit to the attic, the scene of roller skating and crazy relatives.
After the tour, join us for a glass and some bites at The Bungalow just a few steps away–included in the ticket price.
This exclusive tour will be limited, so get your tickets today! Groupon offers are not applicable for this tour.
